About this role

New business is the livelihood and growth engine of an agency. The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new client relationships and revenue. This position collaborates closely with multiple departments in the agency and develops solutions for complex client problems, wins their trust and secures long-term partnerships.

\ Responsibilities

  • Consistently execute on the Vye inbound sales methodology, forecast sales numbers for new accounts, and achieve or surpass sales goals. 

  • Manage new business opportunities throughout the sales cycle from qualification to close.

  • Onboard and train clients on marketing and sales technology, primarily HubSpot.

  • Develops quotes, estimates, and proposals.

  • Actively promotes and markets Vye within our B2B target market of companies looking for measurable growth, and willing and able to invest $100k or more each year with Vye.

  • Attend conferences and industry events.

  • Create outbound sales sequences that leverage marketing content to convert prospects into qualified leads.

  • Contribute as a thought leader and author to Vye’s website and social media channels.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify the root opportunity/pain and craft strategic solutions that result in measurable growth and long term partnerships.

  • Consultative style approach with experience in an agency environment.

  • Utilize HubSpot’s sales and marketing tools effectively and educate Vye clients and team members on how to leverage the tools.

  • Excels in finding and closing new business in a business-to-business sales role.

  • Possesses a passion to connect with companies that are in need of marketing services to help grow their business with the Vye team

  • Ability to effectively and authentically communicate.

  • Is a self-starter, competitive, high-energy, and is highly committed in the execution of what is required to achieve results.

  • Experienced in building a strong network and using that network to develop new sales opportunities.

  • Is a learner: hungry to learn, fail and grow.

  • Is comfortable calling on business owners, marketing directors and executives.

 \ Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs of experience in a similar marketing or business development role.

  • HubSpot certified in Sales Hub, Marketing Hub preferred but not required.

  • Experience in marketing or advertising preferred but not required.

  • A genuine hunger to learn brand, creative messaging, and inbound marketing strategy and tactics.

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Must possess a growth mindset, thrive on creative collaboration and personal accountability.
