\ What You’ll Do

Leadership + Management = Accountability (LMA)

  • Visionary Leadership: Lead the PM team in achieving high-impact solutions that enhance revenue and organizational goals. Serve as the voice for PM & RM at Vye, leading and advancing how we approach both across the agency.
  • Project Profitability:  Ensure project resources are properly allocated and managed across the agency to hit profitability targets. Lead agency-wide project health reporting, partnering with project managers to identify and escalate off-track projects.
  • Knowledge & Growth: Prioritize ongoing professional development for both yourself and your team. Establish individual growth plans and departmental training programs to ensure your practice is rooted in continuous improvement. 
  • Positive Impact & Resilience: Foster a supportive and enjoyable work environment, maintaining composure under pressure and being proactive in problem-solving. Champion positivity and readiness with well-prepared contingency plans.

Project Management

  • Practice Development: Own and advance the project management practice at Vye, elevating our methodologies, processes, and guidelines for PM involvement. Ensure optimal team performance and high technical/creative standards, while shaping a best-in-class PM practice for our team and clients.
  • Hands-On Client Work: Keep your skills sharp by leading 2-3 top tier client projects. Ensure high standards across all project management practices, partnering cross-functionally to elevate client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Communication & Leadership: Serve as the central communication hub for projects, maintaining consistent contact with both internal/external stakeholders. Proactively handle communications, confidently addressing and resolving project issues.
  • Operational & Strategic Oversight: Develop and manage detailed project scopes and cost estimates, integrating all data into relevant PM tools. Act as a key advisor within the agency, leading project delivery to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.

Resource Management

  • Resource Management: Own and advance resource management practices at Vye, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization across all projects. Proactively manage and adapt resourcing, setting agency-wide standards for productivity and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Forecasting: Collaborate with the COO to develop and implement a process for accurately forecasting agency capacity up to one month in advance, ensuring alignment with staffing plans and operational needs.
  • Full-Time & Freelance Hires: Leverage resourcing data to identify when we hire full-time vs freelance team members. Own our freelance talent pools, from finding talent through successful onboarding and ongoing pipeline management.
  • Leadership & Decision-Making: Lead discussions surrounding our organizational capacity targets, pricing enhancements, and more. Make data-driven decisions, balancing firmness/fairness, especially in client scope creep and budget negotiations.

Identify + Develop Operational Efficiencies

  • Strategic Workflow Optimization: Lead the development and implementation of agency-wide procedures to ensure smooth workflow management. Lead compliance efforts to uphold high standards in operational consistency and excellence.
  • Quality Assurance: Champion rigorous QA processes to secure all necessary sign-offs on key project deliverables. Implement strategic measures to maintain a robust audit trail, ensuring accountability and protecting the agency’s interests.
  • Agency-Wide Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives via insightful project debriefs and actionable plans. Proactively identify and address areas for operational enhancement, ensuring all elements of our project delivery are maximized for project success, client satisfaction, and team empowerment.

\ Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: 5+ years of blended project management and resource management experience within a digital advertising agency. 2+ years of leading a team and/or PM/PM practice.
  • Project Work: Deep (and direct) experience PMing inbound marketing and web projects, working across various industry verticals.
  • Tools & Best Practices: Proficient in HubSpot, Asana, and Harvest (or similar tools) with a deep understanding of PM methodologies (agile, scrum, and waterfall).
  • People Management: Strong people management capabilities, with a proven track record of leading, motivating, and inspiring teams to achieve high-quality results.
  • Adaptability: Exceptional ability to manage conflicting priorities with flexibility. Excellent organizational and communication skills, key for successful coordination across diverse roles and departments.
