About this role

Vye is looking for a marketing professional that is passionate about researching and analyzing search and ranking data, blending that with user intent and broad business acumen to develop programs that prove our work works. The SEO Manager is a strategic thinker with the ability to balance both the art and science of search engine-centered marketing, and can integrate the actions throughout Vye’s creative, development, copy, inbound, and client services departments.

\ Responsibilities

  • Design and implement SEO strategies for our agency and our clients by extracting insight from varied data sources, identifying relevant trends, and providing well-developed recommendations to enhance and exceed overall search marketing goals and objectives
  • Define and be the champion of Vye’s SEO service offerings
  • Grow revenue for the agency by bringing in new SEO services to new and existing clients
  • Do the work. Roll your sleeves up and complete actionable work
  • Conduct research using tools such as Ahrefs, implement on-page and technical SEO enhancements, build content strategies, analyze backlinking opportunities, build local SEO, etc.
  • Monitor performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance 
  • Communicate and proactively plan for algorithm updates & changes. Monitor and update client accounts per Google Algorithm Updates & Changes.
  • Be an SEO innovator

 \ Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing SEO campaigns required
  • Documented understanding or certifications in search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Proven experience with Google Analytics, HubSpot, and SEO tools (Ahrefs or SEMrush preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of keyword research best practices
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Excellent business acumen to bridge the work and provide relevant results
  • A genuine hunger to learn
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must possess a growth mindset, thrive on creative collaboration, and personal accountability. 
  • Prior agency experience is a plus
