\ What You’ll Do
- Execute client project initiatives that support client goals and have measurable outcomes (approximately 28 billable hours per week).
- At the start of a project, analyze the areas that could potentially throw the delivery off track, communicate & log these risks, and document potential solutions to mitigate them.
- Lead and manage large, complex, digital marketing and web projects, timelines, and budgets with mixed resource teams.
- Work with internal teams to help define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects as needed.
- Break down work into small, digestible tasks while maintaining a holistic view of the project.
- Work closely with Account Strategists to ensure an exceptional client experience is achieved.
- Be the hub of communication for the project—in regular contact with internal and external partners engaged in delivering our product.
- Set up projects in agency tools to give full visibility but allow the team to collaborate independently.
- Communicate with internal team and clients regularly in a way that is mutually agreed upon.
- Motivate team members to meet schedule and quality requirements for deliverables.
- Resolve conflicts within team capacity and project needs and utilize CTMs when necessary.
- Filter client feedback and clearly relay that information to the internal team.
- Produce realistic timelines with clearly flagged milestones, and deliver projects to deadlines within budget.
- Work hand in hand with a team of Project Managers to manage traffic and team resources in order to keep the team balanced and assist in forecasting.
- Understand the workings and needs of the assigned account(s); have a good understanding of the brands —their definitions, their core characteristics, and how they should and shouldn't behave.
- Be commercially aware: At all times have an idea of the status of the budget of the projects; status documents should be updated weekly and any variations from budget accounted for and where possible mitigated before they happen.
- Ensure all documentation, costings, briefs, scopes, and presentations are of the highest possible standard.
- Update and provide status docs prior to client calls.
- Be positive and a force for good in the team – even when faced with difficult problems. Don’t just identify potential issues; bring solutions.
- Know when to delegate upwards and raise the alarm at the right time, to the right people when issues occur.
- Keep promises and always set expectations realistically.
