\ Overview

This pivotal role at Vye is a creative powerhouse who sees the world through a design lens and gets excited about solving problems visually. The Senior Graphic Designer takes the lead on bold brand work, builds creative that connects, and delivers campaigns that look as good as they perform.

This person brings brands to life through smart, strategic design — from big-picture identity systems to the smallest pixel-perfect details. They are the kind of designer who lives for a holistic and unique moodboard, tackles a tight deadline with ease, and geeks out over typography trends.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong design portfolio, agency experience, and the ability to mentor others while still rolling up their sleeves. We’re all about collaboration, growth, and delivering creative that actually moves the needle for our clients.

\ Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process across print and digital projects — from brainstorming and concepting to execution and delivery (approx. 32 billable hours/week, brought to 40 full-time hours by internal and admin tasks).
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to uncover goals, audiences, and messaging that will shape each project.
  • Deliver innovative, on-brand creative solutions such as:
    • Full marketing campaigns
    • Social media content
    • Digital and print ads
    • Email templates
    • Infographics and eBooks
    • Landing pages and digital tools
    • Logos and total rebrands
    • Digital and print color palettes 
  • Build and present moodboards, sketches, comps, and final files.
  • Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints and channels for each client brand.
  • Stay on top of design trends, tools, and techniques — and bring fresh ideas to the team on the regular.
  • Guide and mentor junior designers; offer constructive feedback to elevate the work.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables efficiently. You know when to push and when to just deliver. 
  • Present in a persuasive way to clients, including those who may be resistant to visual changes in their brand.
  • Advocate for great design and contribute to a culture of creativity, learning, and mutual respect.

 \ Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Collaborative in ideation and feedback.
  • Ability to articulate your creative process. 
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills; ability to confidently and clearly give and receive feedback. 
  • Highly creative and self-driven; motivated to elevate ideas, people, and brands. 
  • Comfortable making decisions about producing graphics.
  • Able to see design development from a holistic perspective.
