The Account Manager is the lynchpin for developing and maintaining exemplary client relationships with clients and projects. This role is on the front lines of the business, with the responsibility to manage & execute on client strategy, goals, and results, as well as day-to-day deliverables, timelines, and budgets. The Account Manager works closely with Account Strategists and Project Managers to maintain a vision for new and improved results, innovations, and opportunities.

\ Responsibilities
- Execute client project initiatives that support client goals and have measurable outcomes (approximately 32 billable hours per week).
- Lead and manage large, complex, marketing, marketing and web projects, timelines, and budgets with mixed resource teams. Break down work into small, digestible tasks while maintaining a holistic view of the project.
- Work with internal teams to help define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects as needed.
- Execute on the day-to-day implementation of strategies through effective project management, information sharing, resource allocation, proofing, and communication with internal team members and external clients & partners.
- Work closely with the team and client to ensure strategies are aligned through implementation.
- Review and proof edits, maintaining accuracy & quality control prior to passing work to clients. Identify areas of misalignment from the strategy that require additional iterations or realignment.
- Monitor budget, profitability & scope alignment, along with the Account Strategist
- Manage client relationships, meetings, and maintain up-to-date project statuses to provide communication to the client. Use discernment with client work that adds value but maintains profitability.
- Be the hub of communication for the project—in regular contact with internal and external partners engaged in delivering our product. Build positive relationships both with clients and team members.
- Demonstrate great people management skills, including motivating team members to meet schedule and quality requirements for deliverables, ability to resolve conflicts within the team, ability to get team members from different disciplines to come together as a team
- Produce realistic timelines with clearly flagged milestones. Deliver projects to deadlines within budget.
- Work hand in hand with a team of Project Managers to manage traffic and team resources in order to keep the team balanced and assist in forecasting.
- Understand the workings and needs of the assigned account(s); have a good understanding of the brands —their definitions, their core characteristics, and how they should and shouldn't behave.
- Be commercially aware: At all times have an idea of the status of the budget of the projects; status documents should be updated weekly and any variations from budget accounted for and where possible mitigated before they happen.
\ Essential Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in project management or project coordination in a marketing-related role. Experience in an agency environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent understanding of web technologies such as web, mobile, email, social media, PR, reporting platforms.
- Experience in using project management tools, budget/time tracking tools and issue tracking software with the depth of knowledge to recommend the right tools for a project.
- Experience in project management models and their application to different projects, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum.
- Experience with Asana, Harvest, HubSpot, and WordPress preferred but not required.
- Dependable and proactive, able to manage projects without prompting.
- Able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- An exceptional communicator with the ability to clearly articulate details and directions to others.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to execute tasks with precision.

- Able to work well independently and with a team.
Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000 annually based on experience.
