\ Overview
People and words matter. As the leader of our content marketing specialists, you take pride in bringing together the right people and the right words. You have a deep understanding of which digital channels are best suited for which messages, and how to squeeze every last drop of value out of those channels for your clients.
As Content Marketing Manager, you know how and when to tell a story that moves B2B businesses from “one of many” to “the one you want to choose.” You have a firm grasp on what AI is good at helping you with, and what's best left to the ol' noggin. You knew how to use an em dash before it was trendy — and you're not afraid to use one now. You've mastered nearly every tactic in the playbook, from websites and video scripts to conversion-first landing pages, snappy social posts, and SMS messages. And you also know how to take your deliverables one step further by setting up successful workflows, digging into SEO platforms, and collaborating with designers and developers.
You're a natural-born leader, a stellar editor, and a true self-starter. You know how to course correct a team, inspire them, and elevate their work with both empathy and skill. And because you’ve built teams before, you know what it takes to hire, mentor, and grow a content marketer from good to great.

- Collaboration with other department leads to elevate client work and improve processes (including but not limited to developers, project managers, designers, account managers, and HubSpot architects).
- Educate and guide the content marketing team to achieve smart impactful, client-focused solutions that drive revenue and other key business goals.
- Create strong user journeys, including CTA strategies, storybranding, content organization, and personalization.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our clients’ brand voice and implement it into various channels/tactics (e.g., website, email, video, direct mail, print ads, social, brand stories).
- Help organize, maintain and oversee content standards and guidelines.
- Offer insight on creative briefs and content team’s work schedules.
- Understand and follow best practices and trends in creative copywriting, digital marketing, branding and creative development.
\ Skills and Qualifications
- Experience leading, managing, and motivating a content team (3+ years preferred)

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You’re comfortable in front of a client.
- Cross-channel writing expertise, including websites, email, print, and social.
- Cross-channel editing expertise. You know how to make tweaks to take a piece of content from good to great.
- A problem solver with a keen sense for operational efficiency. You know the best way to get things done.
- A confident decision-maker and mindful communicator, providing a sense of calm during high-volume, high-stakes moments. You lead the way by embracing the fast-paced and responsive environment with professionalism and levity.
- Skilled in handling criticism well. You know how to handle and provide constructive feedback.
- Highly creative and strategic.
- Familiarity with Claude AI, HubSpot, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and platforms that monitor and reflect content performance (e.g., GA4) is a major plus.
