Paid Media Specialist

Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager

Vye is seeking an experienced and results-driven Paid Media Specialist. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, management, and reporting of digital paid media acquisition strategies and tactics that drive results across search, programmatic, and social platforms via innovation, ownership, financial optimization, attribution, and your overall expertise in search marketing across the portfolio of Vye’s clients. The ideal candidate has a proven track record, and portfolio, that demonstrates successful digital paid marketing initiatives.


  • Develop, manage, execute, and continually optimize the paid search, programmatic, and paid social strategies and tactics for our clients (Platforms include Google Ads, Google Display Network, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest)
  • Monitor pace and delivery to ensure campaigns are on track to deliver the allocated budget
  • Escalate issues with campaigns as needed
  • Explain and conduct optimizations on a consistent cadence and prepare client-facing reports
  • Utilize in-house and 3rd party tools to drive results, report on KPIs, and communicate clearly with clients (tools include Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and Hubspot to understand the impact of website changes)
  • Collaborate with clients and provide actionable insights/recommendations to achieve goals
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to increase advertising efficiency
  • Leverage first- and third-party data to create unique segments for ad targeting and onboarding of new audiences for media buying
  • Identify new cost-effective, scalable, and targeted online media buys that provide qualified and profitable traffic
  • Plan, create and execute thoughtful digital creative campaigns to inform, engage and increase member base (this may include ads, emails, banners, landing pages, etc.)
  • Deploy campaigns that drive new customer acquisition with a strong understanding of attribution and incrementally
  • Continuously A/B Test landing pages, ad creatives, and ad copy to optimize CPA and ROAS
  • Participate in the development of digital paid media strategy including goals, KPIs, assets, budgets, and forecasts
  • Educate internal stakeholders regarding paid media and stay up-to-date on competitors, new partner opportunities strategies, technologies, media developments, and innovations
  • Contribute to the Marketing team by accomplishing other tasks and special projects as needed/assigned
  • Work multiple projects simultaneously and use effective time management to meet deadlines
  • Help promote uniformity and consistency of brand
  • Identify and prioritize keywords for content development and SEO
  • Strategize and work cross-departmentally with design, copy, and video teams to create campaign assets such as ads, landing pages, and promotional videos

  • 3+ years experience executing paid search, display, and social campaigns (this role is in campaign strategy and analytics, not content creation)
  • Direct experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Advertising, and social media ad platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Advertising, etc.)
  • Able to articulate reporting to both clients and internal key stakeholder
  • An analytical and entrepreneurial mindset with a curiosity about the industry
  • A desire for continuous learning
  • Experience running multiple paid channels and discovering new channels
  • Experience working within teams and with other marketing teams
  • Minimum of 4-7 years experience in marketing, inbound marketing, paid media, or comparable area with a strong emphasis on inbound funnel strategy, content creation, and optimization
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, or related field
  • Experience with strategy, setup, and reporting on Paid media platforms
  • Experience working alongside others, pitching in to deliver tactics including user stories, and gathering inputs
  • Experience within an agency setting is preferred
  • Experience leading, managing, and motivating teams, directing the work of team members
  • Examples of past influence, abilities, and outcomes on digital paid marketing campaigns and implementation
  • Preferred knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the Traction business model
  • Experience in paid campaign optimization and ROI reporting
  • Ability to manage many projects at once and prioritize in a team environment
  • Well-versed in paid acquisition strategies
