Qualified interns should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of digital & inbound marketing. Our internships last 12-16 weeks, though there is flexibility on timing depending on individual needs and availability. We are looking for an individual who can work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Compensation is $17 an hour.
We are looking for qualified candidates interested in learning + contributing to the following functions:
- Client Services: Assist in project management & client account management. Attend client meetings, take notes, assist in team kick-off meetings & brainstorm, review presentations, etc.
- Web: Learn WordPress & Hubspot CRM, migrate & enter content
- Search Marketing: Analytics + performance monitoring
- Content Marketing: Including content strategy across a variety of digital channels (web, social, email, etc.), creating social media post calendars, & content distribution
\ Marketing Intern Responsibilities
- Perform market analysis and research
- Present & discuss new marketing ideas
- Enter & migrate website content & blog content
- Attend & assist in video & photography shoots
- Assist with daily marketing admin tasks
- Create monthly social media calendars
- Monitor all social media platforms for current news, trends, ideas, and content
- Assist with the creation and layout of presentation decks
- Help with client meeting plans
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing material and digital content
- Help create and manage email campaigns and social media content
- Performs other duties as assigned
\ Marketing Intern Requirements
- Undergraduate student or recent grad in the St. Cloud area majoring in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Driven and hard-working
- Ability to take direction and multi-task
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
- Familiarity with marketing software & social media platforms
- Must have a passion for marketing and marketing technologies
- Must be able to multitask and handle competing priorities
